On October 26th, Rise Against delivered a high-octane, sold-out show at Franklin Music Hall with stellar support from L.S. Dunes and Spiritual Cramp. All three bands brought raw energy and chemistry to the stage, creating a lineup that felt seamless and electrifying from start to finish.
Spiritual Cramp kicked things off with explosive energy, instantly winning over the crowd. Their 30-minute set featured tracks like “Blowback,” “Catch a Hot One,” and “Tenderloin,” setting an intense tone for the night and proving they were the perfect act to get the crowd pumped.
Next, L.S. Dunes hit the stage. As a band made up of members from some of my all-time favorites, seeing them live felt like a long-awaited treat. They opened with “2022,” and the crowd erupted into crowd-surfing and moshing. Between songs, Anthony Green took a moment to greet a few young crowd-surfers, creating a memorable interaction that added a personal touch to their performance. The band’s setlist didn’t disappoint, featuring “Grey Veins,” “Past Lives,” and the latest single “Machine” from their upcoming album, Violet, set for release on January 31, 2025. Travis Stever even had the album title painted on his guitar, a visual teaser for what’s to come.
When Rise Against finally took the stage, the audience was more than ready. They opened with “Satellite,” and the crowd’s energy surged, filling the venue with roaring screams and applause. For the next hour and a half, Rise Against delivered hit after hit, pulling from their impressive catalog with anthems like “Heaven Knows,” “State of the Union,” and “Prayer of the Refugee.” After an incredible main set, they returned for a three-song encore, closing the night on a high and leaving fans craving more.
This tour runs through November, so if it’s passing through your area, grab a ticket. Rise Against, L.S. Dunes, and Spiritual Cramp together make for an unforgettable night that every rock/Punk fan should experience.
