On 5/16, Dead Wrong hosted the Shred Cancer Benefit at Bonk’s Bar in Philadelphia to raise money for Glioblastoma research with support from The Great American Typewriter, Sunbuster, Westmain, and Night Trip.
The night was packed from start to finish and ended up raising over $2000 for research. Every band brought something different and made the whole show feel bigger than just another local lineup. It was one of those nights that reminded you how strong the scene can be when everyone comes together for something that actually matters.
There are still a limited number of benefit shirts available on Dead Wrong’s site, with all proceeds continuing to go directly toward Glioblastoma research funding.
Dead Wrong will also be celebrating the release of their new album on June 20th at Kung Fu Necktie in Philadelphia with Tokyo Rose and The Dead Letters. If the benefit show was any indication, this one is going to be packed and worth getting to early, get tickets here.
