Afloat Knuckles Release Show
With
Common Crime, Cheer Up Dusty, Modern Culture
Khyber Pass Pub // 3-28
On March 28th, Afloat held their “Knuckles” single release show at Khyber Pass Pub with support from Common Crime, Cheer Up Dusty, and Modern Culture.
Modern Culture opened the night with a solid set, their layered and atmospheric sound draws you in from the beginning and always leaves you wanting more. They have a new single coming soon be sure to check that out when it comes out.
Cheer Up Dusty followed with a high-energy pop punk set. Their latest single, “Everybody Hates Me II,” came out a couple of weeks ago and the crowd already is singling along to every word.
Common Crime kept things moving with a mix of older songs and some unreleased material, giving a preview of what’s to come, I personally can’t wait to hear the recorded versions as the songs were great.
Afloat closed out the night, and when “Knuckles” came on, the crowd was right there with them, singing along and closing the show on a high note.
Another good night in Philly put together by Get Well Booking—be sure to check out all the bands and stream Afloat’s new single “Knuckles.”
