The Fillmore Philadelphia // 5-17-26
On 5-17, August Burns Red and The Amity Affliction, along with Boundaries and Heavensgate, took over The Fillmore in Philadelphia. This was the final stop of the Spring Horizons Tour, and the venue was packed from the moment doors opened until the last song of the night.
Opening the night was Heavensgate, who came in hot with an energetic 30 minute set that instantly got the crowd moving. Mosh pits were breaking out throughout the entire set, and they did a great job getting the energy up early. Even as the first band of the night, the crowd was fully engaged and feeding off the energy they brought to the stage.
Next up was Boundaries, and the crowd absolutely erupted when they hit the stage. Between nonstop moshing and constant crowd surfing, the room felt chaotic in the best way possible. Their performance was extremely tight and energetic through the entire 40 minute set. They opened with “Skies Cast Amber Black” from their upcoming album “Yearning: The Unbeautiful After,” which drops July 17th, and the crowd was into every second of it. The intensity never really let up during their set, and it felt like every breakdown hit harder than the last.
The Amity Affliction was the first co headliner of the night and kept the energy rolling with a set full of fan favorites. The crowd sang along loudly throughout the set while still keeping the pits alive from beginning to end. Their mix of heavy breakdowns and melodic choruses translated perfectly live and reminded everyone why they continue to be one of the biggest names in the scene. The connection between the band and the crowd was obvious all night.
Closing out the night was August Burns Red, who delivered exactly the kind of performance fans expected. Their set was relentless from start to finish, packed with massive riffs, insane drumming, and nonstop energy. The pits somehow got even bigger during their set, and the crowd stayed loud the entire time. Their lighting production and overall stage presence made the final set of the tour feel even bigger, and they kept the momentum going all the way through the closing song. They also reminded fans that their new album, “Season of Surrender,” drops on June 5th, giving everyone even more to look forward to after the tour wrapped up.
Overall, the final night of the Spring Horizons Tour felt like the perfect way to close things out. Every band brought something different to the lineup, but the energy never dropped once throughout the entire night. From the opening set by Heavensgate to August Burns Red closing things out, the crowd stayed fully locked in the entire time. Philadelphia got an incredible final show for the tour, and it is definitely one that fans in attendance will remember for a long time.
